Habitats:
Base-rich rock outcrops, cliffs, rocky ledges, and stabilised boulder-scree. Well-drained, cool, moist microhabitats.
Threats:
Forest and heath fires (which have previously occurred). An Arctic-alpine species, sparse numbers and climate change may also adversely impact upon P. lonchitis in the long term.
