Base-rich lakes, ponds and ditches. Coastal grazing marshes. Lowland.


Eutrophication from adjacent agricultural activities. Ecological succession is reducing open water areas as lakes transition into tall herb, fen and wet woodland communities. Drainage of wetlands to create agricultural land. Infilling of small lakes and ponds.
